My name is David Carter, I went to prison for possession of meth and theft from Arby’s. I was placed on unit 11 for mental health issues.
I was locked up with Chris WATTS on two separate occasions at Dodge Correctional Institution on unit 11.
This unit is designed for people who need protection or are there for psychiatric issues. I was there for psychiatric issues; Chris was there for his protection.
When Chris WATTS first arrived at Dodge, everyone knew who he was. I was in cell 1 and he lived around the corner to cell 22 until a room came open by the staff desk. We used to come out for dayrooms during the day and Chris would be reading the Bible or talking to his family on the phone
He mostly read the Bible a lot and tried to get people to read the Bible and go to church with him.
I used to go to the gym, play basketball, go to church and eat every day with Chris.
He seemed like a regular guy, and he couldn’t possibly have done something like this.
Chris claims that NK killed Celeste and Bella and he killed Shan’Nann. He said NK tried to smother the girls with their blanket but were still alive when they got to the job site.
I have contacted Tammy Lee in regards to what I was told, by Chris and agreed to take a polygraph test to prove I’m not lying. Chris said that NK was hiding at the house when Shan’Nann returned home from her trip and he wanted a family with NK and didn’t want to be with Shan’Nann anymore and he didn’t want Unborn Nico. He said that he was protecting NK and didn’t want her to go to prison.
Chris says he is still in love with NICHOL and that she was still writing him under a different alias.
The crime itself is devastating and I only look to bring justice to those that need it. I am in no way seeking anything from this other than justice.
